1 tsp dried thyme (or fresh thyme sprigs for garnish)

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 cup orzo pasta

2 cups chicken or vegetable broth

½ cup heavy cream (or milk for a lighter option)

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 cups fresh spinach

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
