Golden, crispy, cheesy, and saucy—this sandwich is everything you love about Chicken Parmesan between two buttery slices of bread!

• 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
• 1 cup marinara sauce
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 4 slices of hearty bread (like sourdough or Italian)
• 2 tbsp butter (softened)
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
• ½ cup flour + 1 egg + 1 cup breadcrumbs (for breading)

• Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
• Dredge in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
2. Cook the Chicken

• Let rest, then slice or cut to fit your sandwich.
3. Assemble the Sandwich
