Sweet and Smoky BBQ Beef Pasta with Tender Cabbage and Garlic
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 head green cabbage, thinly sliced
8 oz rotini or penne pasta
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup honey BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or sauté pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
Add minced garlic and stir for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add sliced cabbage and cook for 5–6 minutes until it begins to soften.
Stir in uncooked pasta, beef broth, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, smoked paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well.
Cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
